1. Start a room
The host creates a room and gets a 5-letter code. Share that code (or the room link) with your friends. They can join from anywhere, no account required.
2. Pick your seat (and your handwriting)
As people join the lobby, each writer picks a font that will represent them in the finished story. No two players in the same room can share a font; first come, first inked.
3. Take turns writing
When the host starts the game, players write one at a time in a set turn order. On your turn you'll see only the last 80 characters of the previous writer's sentence: just enough to riff off of, not enough to steer the whole plot.
Each turn requires at least 160 characters and caps at 400. Write your line, pass the pen, and wait for it to come back around.
4. The big reveal
After the set number of rounds (or when the host ends the game), the entire story is revealed to everyone at the table, each line rendered in the font of the person who wrote it. Prepare for chaos, non-sequiturs, and the occasional accidental masterpiece.
5. Keep the story
Signed-in players can save finished stories to their profile, publish favorites to a public page, or email themselves a copy to read later. Guests can request to claim their contributions afterward.
